Zahnquecksilber Günstling

The report about heath / safety (SCENIHR) haw been worked out by an engineer

(chairman), 4 dentists, a Chemists / toxicolog and 2 veterinarians (a Danish

Veterinarian Ole Ladefoged (My remark: Ole Ladefoged has not an remarkable

knowledge about Heavy Metals. I have had been in a contact with him by phone

once.) There is not just one doctor (in the expert-group) or one with

special knowledge of Mercury.  Prof. Williams as (strong) contacts to the

industry. See

http://ec.europa.eu/health/ph_risk/committees/scmp/documents/cv_williams_en.pdf

A few months back the EU issued the SCENIHR-report on dental amalgam

http://ec.europa.eu/health/ph_risk/committees/04_scenihr/docs/scenihr_o_016.pdf

I believe this made the head-lines in the US also.
Earlier I have told you that I found a CV for the chairman Prof. David F.
Williams. It showed considerable industrial contacts.

He has now written an article on lessons learned from the work on dental
amalgam, http://www.devicelink.com/mdt/archive/08/09/003.html

In the presentation of Prof. Williams to the right i
t gets really
interesting. It says that he is "Managing Partner of Morgan & Masterson LLC"

I almost fell off the chair when I found out what they are working with! The
dental industry must have been overexcited with joy when they found out who
was going to chair the SCENIHR-committee. Prof. Williams firm is working
with:

"Opinions on critical scientific issues that underpin corporate policy

Expert testimony in product liability and patent litigation

Due diligence and assessment of commercial strategy

Guidance on scientific strategy for regulatory submissions

Advice on major crisis management

Representation of corporate interests

Staging of international industry/scientific fora

Independent advice as non-executive Director or member of Scientific
Advisory Boards

Information retrieval service"
